Ingredients

  • 4 6-oz fillets salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger (freshly grated)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 stalks green onions (sliced)

You'll need

  • ·Baking sheet or broiler pan
  • ·Small bowl
  • ·Pastry brush or spoon
  • ·Foil

Instructions

  1. 1

Whisk together miso, mirin, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger in a small bowl.

  2. 2

Pat salmon dry and place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spoon glaze generously over each fillet. Marinate 15 minutes at room temperature.

  3. 3

Set oven to broil (high). Broil salmon 8–10 minutes until glaze is caramelized and fish flakes easily. Watch closely — the glaze can go from perfect to burnt quickly.
