WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We operate out of a licensed commercial kitchen that is located in Long Island, NY.   So unfortunately at this time, we can’t accomodate walk-ins.  Visits are currently done by appointment only.  But don’t worry, we service the entire Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). 

HOW MUCH DO YOUR CAKES COST?
Currently we aren’t selling to the public at this time.  However, please continue to check back for updates.
 
YOUR CAKES LOOK GOOD, BUT DO THEY TASTE GOOD TOO?
So glad you asked! YES! Our cakes are made using only high quality ingredients including real butter, milk, flour, sugar, eggs and seasonal fresh fruit. 
We are constantly testing and trying new flavor combinations to ensure innovation, good taste, and originality!  Also, NO FROZEN STUFF HERE! This isn’t your typical grocery store cake! Everything is made fresh to order. So, YES! They do taste as good as they look!
 
DO YOU SELL GRAB-AND-GO CAKES?
Since we are a CUSTOM CAKE business that operates out of a licensed commercial kitchen, it is VERY RARE that we have grab-and-go cakes available. If we do, it will be a promotion that is advertised on our Instagram / Facebook pages! OR, you can join our newsletter for updates here!
 
DO YOU OFFER PEANUT-FREE PRODUCTS?
We do offer peanut-free products. However, Blue Sky Treats products are manufactured in a facility with nuts or processed on shared equipment with nuts.
 
DO YOU DELIVER?
Yes, we do deliver. Delivery and setup fees are determined by distance. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. Chocolate covered treats require an optimal room temperature of 70 degrees or below.
 
CAN I PICK MY ORDER UP?
Yes you can.  However, all cakes 3 tiers and up, 3d, and/or sculpted cakes MUST be delivered.  If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Blue Sky Treat’s possession. Cakes should be transported on a flat and sturdy surface and kept in an optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. Chocolate covered treats require an optimal room temperature of 70 degrees or below.
 
A confirmation text will be sent 1-2 days before the event with the agreed upon pick-up time.  If the order is not picked up by the end of the 30 minute grace period, it will have to be picked up on the next available day (except Sunday).  *Please note that we have deliveries scheduled throughout the day and it’s not fair to delay someone else’s order due to a late pick-up. 
 
DO YOU SHIP YOUR CAKES?
Unfortunately we do not ship cakes.  However, WE DO TRAVEL!  Contact us via email at info@blueskytreats.com for more info.  In addition, We DO ship our Cakes In A Jar and cookies.  And they make AWESOME gifts! 
 
WILL MY CAKE/CUPCAKES/TREATS LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURE I SENT?
Absolutely not. Pictures from other cake/treat artists are used as inspiration ONLY. We will work with you to create a customized design that is made solely for you!
 
HOW MUCH CAKE DO I NEED?
Here is a guide to help you determine.  But it all depends on how you slice it.  Our standard cake serving slices are approximately 1.5″ x 2″.  However, you may want to cut bigger slices because the cake is just that good!  So be sure to have enough.  After all, left overs aren’t a bad thing!

DOES SPEAKING ABOUT AN ORDER CONFIRM IT?
NO! Speaking about an order does not confirm it. To confirm your order, a non-refundable payment of 40% of the order total is required to secure our services for your event date and time. All non-refundable payments must be paid within 3 days from the date that the invoice is issued.  If payment isn’t received, the invoice will be canceled. 
 
The balance will be due 10 days before the delivery date. If the final payment is not received, the order will be voided. Until a non-refundable payment to secure your date is received, your order date will not be placed on our calendar.
 
HOW LONG IS A QUOTE GOOD FOR?
A quote (price) is only valid for 7 days. If a non-refundable payment to secure our services for your event date and time is not made within that time frame, the quote will no longer be valid and a new one will have to be issued.
 
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all credit cards and cash only. For your protection, we do NOT process credit card orders over the phone. However, for your convenience, we can email you an invoice for you to pay online.
 
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?
A non-refundable payment of 40% of the order total is due upon order placement. Balance is due in full 10 days prior to your event. If an order is not picked up on the day of delivery or delivery is denied, the client is still responsible for the full balance of the order. If a cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to your event, the balance is still due in full. *Please understand that when you book an order, we decline other orders. 
 
IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION:
1. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing no later than 2 weeks before the order due date.
2. If a cancellation is received, your 40% payment will not be refundable.
3. If a cancellation is received less than two weeks prior to the promised delivery/pickup date, the full balance is still the client’s responsibility.
